After Effects Plugin Overview
Overview
The ILD Render plugin for After Effects renders Shape Layers (vector data layers, see Documentation) to ILD Render.
Currently following items are rendered:
Graphics objects:
- path
- ellipse
- rectangle
- polystar
Attributes:
- transform
- stroke
- fill
Effects:
- trim path
- repeater
- round corners
It takes strokes and fills into account. If there is no stroke the fill color is used for the laser lines.
The opacity is also taken into account.
The parent relations of shape layers to other layers (Null Object, Adjustment Layers) are also respected.
Every After Effects layer can have Custom Optimizations.
These custom optimizations can be animated within After Effects.
It's also possible to use an After Effects layer as an ILD Render layer (e.g. to display parts of the animation on different projectors).
The custom optimizations of ILD Render Layers can't be animated.
